“Going back again - YES.” - Irishsueb - Trip Advisor

“Going back again - YES.” - Irishsueb - Trip Advisor Excellent one bedroom apartment. Very comfortable, extremely clean and spacious. Apartment is a generous size with good chattels. Sally and Mike very obliging nothing is too much bother. The kitchen has a two ring hot plate and microwave. If I were to find anything to improve I would probably add an oven but not a major. Close to the University without being too close... Will be going back again.

From Trip Advisor

From Trip Advisor This hotel looks lovely, the hosts are lovely and the rooms are lovely and big....

My husband and I, with our two boys stayed two nights at 858 in January. We had a large family room - 2 storey apartment. The rooms were clean and well presented. Kitchen facilities were excellent for our short stay, and I'm sure that if you needed anything else, the lovely hosts would've been only too happy to help out. We were able to walk in to the town centre easily, and most other things we needed were only a short drive away.

The only down side to our stay were the noisy revellers making their way home down the street on a Saturday night - nothing to do with the hotel at all. Would highly recommend to others.

Bev. Stafford, UK - Trip Advisor We arrived on a very wet day and felt low. On going to our room (upstairs) our mood changed immediatly, superb room, excelent kitchen area and a bathroom you would die for. The owner had offered to help with our caes up the stairs, we declined but were grateful for his considerstion. We were told what to see in Dunedin, and managed to see the steepest residential road in the world. On learning we were on our 50th wedding aniversary tour we were presented with a gift - again very much appreciated. Of all the palace we visted on our 28 day tour of New Zealand this accommodaytion must come out as one of the best if not the best .
